Winifred Paul (no date), Along the Banks of Jacobs Creek; A Genealogy of a Mennonite Community, pp. 25-30 and 76-84. Mennonite farmer. He and his brother Jacob came from Bucks County to the Jacobs Creek valley in 1800 with the Henry Overholt party. 1 May 1801: Christian Fretz purchased 81 acres from James and Elizabeth Galloway, a small part of the land that the Galloways had patented in 1799. This property now in Scottdale.
