Notes for Ebenezer Libby
In the spring of 1800, he went to Winslow, and worked at lumbering, part of the time for Thomas Smiley, and part of the time for himself, until his marriage. He then settled on a farm in Albion. In 1848, he swapped this for another, in the northeast part of the same town, and there died, 2 Sept. 1857. His widow died 31 Aug. 1863.
His was the first barn in Albion raised without liquor, which was in 1835.
