Notes for Daniel Libby
He lived in Albion until he was twenty-eight years old--three years in trade. In 1833 he removed to Houlton, thence to Fort Fairfield in 1842, then to Bradford in 1848, and in 1853 was chosen representative from that class to the state legislature. In 1858 he moved to Limestone where he now resides. He has represented that district twice in the legislature. He resides on a farm, but has many years been postmaster, has held various town offices, and is a justice of the peace.
